The Dennis Kunkel (DKMI) Collection provides 22,812 Images of which presently 5,080 Images are provided through its current web site www.denniskunkel.com.
The collection consists of scanning electron micrographs taken with the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), transmission electron micrographs taken with the Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM); and light micrographs taken with a Light Microscope (LM). All original SEM and TEM micrographs are black and white, with select subjects later colorized. All LM micrographs are shot in color, due to the imaging properties of the Light Microscope. All images are in digital format.
